Entry sheets should be mailed to Superintendent by September 1, 2008. Exhibits to be placed on Thursday September 11, 2008 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. All exhibits are to be removed on Monday September 22, 2008 from 12:00 pm (noon) to 5:00pm.

                                                   

 TRADITIONAL GRANGE EXHIBIT

 

 1. 10 jars of canned goods with labels. All jellies to be in jelly jars. Jars should be clean with no rust on lids. 

         No wax on jellies!

 2. 5 different baked goods; to be on plates that are available.

 3. 10 different varieties of vegetables; NO MORE, NO LESS!! Vegetables are to be 5 (five) and NOT on plates.

 4. Smaller vegetables (i.e.: cherry tomatoes, radishes, green and wax beans etc.) are to have 10, with larger

vegetables (i.e.: squash, pumpkins) are to have 2 (two).

 

NO FRUIT WILL BE ACCEPTED!!

 5. Centerpiece Theme ~ No extra premium for centerpiece will be awarded!!

 6.Crafts and Handiwork: 8 different items total; with a minimum of 2 (two) crafts REQUIRED!!

 7. Bible and Flag

SCORING ~ POSSIBLE 100 POINTS

 

Conforms to requirements = 50 points  Quality = 35 points

Arrangement = 10 points Sign = 5 points

 

Premiums:

 

Class A Award : 90-100 points   $85.00 Class B Award: 80-89 points   $75.00

Class C Award: 70-79 points  $70.00
