Conditions~

PIG SCRAMBLE REGULATIONS

  1. Ten pigs will be awarded to those contestants who successfully catch, hold on to, and tie them in the three minutes allowed.
  2. Names of ten contestants and two alternates will be drawn from the qualified entrants. Additional names will be drawn if necessary until all pigs are caught.
  3. Any a contestant who tries to catch a pig on which another contestant already has a hold will be disqualified.
  4. There will be a judge assigned to each pig and the judge’s decision will be final.
  5. After each Scramble, pigs will be kept at the Swine Barn until winners can take them home, but all pigs must be picked up no later than 10:00 pm on the winning day.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Child must be at least 8 years old and no older than 12 years of age on the day of the Scramble.
  2. Participants must be able to raise the pig. IT CAN NOT BE SOLD! The winner must take full responsibility for the care of the animal.
  3. All entrants must submit and entry form and have written permission of a parent or guardian to enter.
  4. Entries must be submitted by 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 15, 2007 and/or by 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2007.
  5. The Scrambles will be held at 8:00 on Saturday, September 15, 2007 and at 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2007.
